Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a combat racing game set in the Star Wars galaxy, developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode. It takes place in the Outer Rim in the period after the fall of the Empire, where an unsanctioned, syndicate-backed circuit called the Galactic League has sprung up as underground entertainment for a galaxy still rebuilding. Players take the role of Shade, a lone pilot chasing glory and settling old grudges, and come up against a rival named Kestar over the course of a story-driven single-player campaign. The core gameplay loop centers on run-based races across branching routes on a mix of new and familiar Star Wars locations. Rather than relying on Force powers or scripted heroics, races are won through piloting skill, vehicle choice, and aggression: players can slam, shunt, and take down opposing racers mid-run while managing the handling quirks of different repulsorcraft. The game features several distinct vehicle classes, including landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers, each with its own physics and playstyle, and crafts can be customized and built out with unlockable abilities as players progress.
