What is Graveyard Keeper 2?
Graveyard Keeper 2 is a single-player management and adventure game that continues the original Graveyard Keeper's mix of dark comedy and medieval business simulation. Players once again run a graveyard operation, harvesting resources that range from ordinary flora and fauna to human remains, then processing them through crafting chains to keep the business profitable. The sequel expands well beyond graveyard upkeep. A larger world introduces zombie-apocalypse elements: players can build fortifications, craft weapons and armor, and command an undead army in real-time combat against threats to the surrounding kingdom. Town restoration quests add narrative structure on top of the open-ended resource loop, giving players clearer goals alongside the freeform management systems. The tone remains the series' trademark blend of grim subject matter and irreverent humor — absurd medieval accuracy played for laughs rather than horror. Automation systems return and are expanded, letting players streamline the more repetitive parts of production once the basics are established. As a single-player title, there's no multiplayer or co-op component; progress and pacing are entirely up to the individual player, and sessions can range from short crafting-and-building check-ins to longer stretches spent expanding the base and pushing through combat encounters. Fans of management sims looking for something with more bite — literally, given the zombies — and players who enjoyed the original's dark humor are the clearest audience here.
